About this Ministry

ABOUT THE MINISTRY

Our ministry is that of a pastoral assistant. We don’t perform all of your ministry tasks for you, but we are here to provide you with the resources that you need. You are encouraged to put your “personal touch” on the sermons and other resources that we supply, making them your own, and developing them for the ministry God has called you to.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Barry Davis has been married to his wife Robin for over 30 years and is the father of four wonderful children, and grandfather to three. He was born in Ohio and lived in several different States growing up, but is at heart, a Buckeye. He presently makes his home in Central Kentucky.

Having been a pastor for three decades, as well as a pastor to pastors, Barry knows what it is like to be on the front lines of ministry, in the pulpit, out in the community, in board meetings, doing evangelism, and all the rest that comes with an active church ministry.

Barry is the author, co-author, and editor of many Christian books and spends much of his time writing and developing new resources for those in pastoral ministry. He has earned the Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor of Biblical Literature from Ozark Christian College, the Master of Arts in New Testament and Preaching from Johnson University, the Doctor of Ministry in Homiletics from American Christian College and Seminary, and the Ph.D. in Executive Leadership from Louisiana Baptist University.

ABOUT OUR BELIEFS

The Bible

We believe the Bible, in the original manuscripts, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God written.

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is found in no other name than that of Jesus the Christ. Salvation is by grace, through faith.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a godly life in this present evil world.

The Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Spiritual Unity

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.

The Return of Christ

We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ.
